I started my move process in early 2021, but I didn’t actually move across country (CA to VA) until May 2021, receiving multiple quotes. What really stood out to me was when Jackie arrived at my home (many moving companies were not doing in home quotes at this time) and how friendly and supportive she was. She was very detailed as we sorted through each room (I was only moving certain items), explaining the process and pricing as we went along. After she left I continued to have multiple conversations with both Jackie and Jeanne. I had to coordinate my move and pick up points from (3) locations and they didn’t blink an eye – just said it was no problem and they would take care of it. I adjusted my inventory list multiple times and again, no complaints, just willing to help me out. When the day came, their moving crew was incredible – the first 2 pickup points were on a Wednesday, then the big move pick up was on Thursday. All of my antiques, art, furniture and personal items were packed and handled with much care. And no complaints about some of the very heavy items and the many stairs they had to navigate. Jeanne was right on target with estimated arrival dates in VA and made sure I was in the loop during the drive time. With this very emotional move and with all of the moving pieces, Jackie, Jeanne and their move crew couldn’t have been more helpful, supportive or patient with me! I thank each and every one of you. BTW: out of (6) quotes, Move-Pros quote was the lowest (but with the best service offered). If you are planning a move do yourself a favor and use Move-Pros!!

Everyone who helped orchestrate my cross-country move was helpful, kind and patient. Bill LaVigne, who did the bid and packing, is exceptional — all his suggestions and estimates were right on the mark. All of my art, antiques and other things were i perfect condition when they arrived. Ken and Star who loaded the truck, drove it from CA to MI and unloaded it — ahead of scheduled! — were terrific. Ken pointed out spots on antiques that I’d never noticed and that needed special care. All the furniture was handled with great care. Ken and Star were so pleasant to work with that my stress dissolved. Jeanne at Move-Pros headquarters was friendly, patient and explained details I’d overlooked. BRAVO to all involved!
