On the 28 of October, the San Francisco Giants finished off the Detroit Tigers. The final game headed to extra innings, but the Tigers could not hold Romo and his stunning closing performance. The Giants took the series in 4 straights games. They lost only 5 games during their post season run. This is almost unheard of. Their dominance will be remembered for years to come.

After some minor rioting after the game by a handful of fans; the city headed directly into their Home coming parade. This was done the following day in San Francisco. All the players lined up in a caravan of cars with their families. This is much different that many are used to seeing. Mostly it is the championship team on a bus and everyone is inebriated. Movers in the Bay Area were disrupted from their services for a short while during the parade. This was due to many street closings.
